INSTRUCTOR DONNA UNDERWOOD
Volunteer work for the Miami Watercolor Society led her to earn a Master’s degree in art education from FIU. She is currently the Director of Fine Arts at Westminster Christian School where she taught high school art for 16 years. She chairs Palmetto Bay’s “Art in Public Places” committee, has illustrated a children’s book (I Am Moxxy Dog!) and the Miami Youth Museum cookbook, has done commissioned paintings, has designed a variety of social and civic invitations including the Lowe Art Museum’s, has won awards in local and state exhibitions, and has adjudicated art shows locally, regionally and on a state level.
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
1-& 2- Point Perspective Drawing and Atmospheric Painting
Lesson objective is to learn to create the illusion of depth on a two-dimensional surface in still life, landscape and architectural drawings and watercolor paintings.
